We haven't heard of anything like that. Maybe because we already have a gig with Fuel and Enrique Iglesias' uncle, Tom.   —moosebutter

Hello!
I have found an interesting website where 2 women from Sweden makes paper out of moose droppings and then makes paintings!
Take a look at: www.cariann-of-sweden.com

I was looking at Heidi and Jordans comments and suddenly it hit me! You guys need something like Moosechat where we can talk to other people that love to sing Squirrels in the shower.
That's a great idea. I think there is something like that on MySpace. Search for "moosebutter". If not, send us an email and we'll see what we can do.   —moosebutter

Is Doug a ficticious charecter or a odd man who is involved in a chain reactio0n love story that happens to have the name of an old tv cartoon?
I HAVE TO KNOW!
Doug represents everything beautiful about "crushes". Could make a great cartoon.   —moosebutter

Any chance you guys need some sort of sampler or drummer im open!
Plus my brother Ben says: HI!
Remeber I'm here just give me a message or email.
Plus: Have the moosemen done any work on Kentucky??
Sampler... is that like a Mystery Shopper or something? Oh, oh, I know, like a servant employed by royalty in the middle ages whose job was to taste the food first to test for poison. Yes! We totally need one of those. In fact we just posted the opening on Craigslist. Except you sample our socks before we put them on, to test for oatmeal. Still pays well.

No such need for drummer.

At the next concert you attend, remind us and we'll have you come up and do something. Tell Ben, "Word up". Still working on Kentucky.   —moosebutter

I did an interview at 2 am MST for radio-kol. It was fun - talked with the DJ while he had people sending questions and comments in via internet. Really cool.

I went to your Lehi Concert. That was pretty sweet. Are you going to post any songs on the lounge? I think you should post that Doug song, that was hilarious. Where was Chris, by the way?
"that Doug song" is available for purchase in our store. No other Lehi songs are going to be posted on the lounge because, um, I forgot to push record on the machine. Whoops. It was a cool show, though, and we'll all have special memories of it. Yummm.   —moosebutter

You haven't heard from me for a long time. I was doing somthing during that time, and here are the lyrics!

Note: you are going to like this unless u like cannibals

He met her on the stairs, 'twas dark, and so he kissed her. He said,

"I found a turkey in my shoe doing some turkey kind of exotic dance that some other turkey might find attractive, but I don't really find it attractice, actually

I don't fell so good. I think I'm gonna spew! What are you gonna do? Gonna get that goo on my new shoe! My meal is through.

Norman Bates was just

J-E-L-L-O! Oh, the big red letters stand for the Jell-o faimly! Oh, the big red letters stand for the Jell-o faimly! It's Jell-o! Yum, yum, yum! Jell-o pudding! Yum, yum, yum! Jell-o tapioca pudding, yessiry! Living in Utah, you'll have to grin and bear it, 'cause we like our jell-o green with shreded

*whitsling from Starwars*

The End
Sweet remix. Now, get someone to choreograph a dance and we're in business.

P.S. It was WONDERFUL meeting you at the Freedom Days on July 4th! You are awesome and you looked like you were having a ton of fun!   —moosebutter

Here's what you guys remind me of....
Weston- Crazy Squirrel (no relation to the one in my nose)
Chris- Relaxed Moose Dude, maybe...
Glen- Ninja (sorry Glen I'm a pirate)
Tim- My man the Pirate, ARGH ME MATEYS!!
YAY!
Davis
Great. Great. Just great. With the exception of Chris, who apparently is a peaceful pacifist in red spandex, you have named the other three of us as sworn enemies. Squirrel (crazy or sane, frankly), Ninja, Pirate ... each sworn enemies of the other. Now we must enter the cage where only one will emerge alive.

Looks like Glen is done, so we'll have to replace him with someone... oh hey, here comes Jorge. He's not a sworn enemy, he's a Butterfly.   —moosebutter

If I ordered my new Udder Won CD on Friday, what day should i get it on?
Depends on where you live.
If you live in, oh say, Henderson, Kentucky, then you'll probably get it in about four days (one day for us to put it in a mailer and get it over to the Post Office, and then three days for shipping).

If you live on Epimetheus, the fourth moon of Saturn, then it will take at least an extra day.   —moosebutter

and so what is this that you are not telling anyone that EVERYONE is leaving!!! First Chris leaves, and now I here that Glen's last show was the one tonight at South Jordan!? Who's going next?

well any way had a great time!! thanks for signing my shirt, christy's hat, patti's glow braclet, etc. we all love you in davis county and cant wait until you come sing up here!!!!!!!
thanks for and awsome night!!!

Straight answers (for once): Chris merely happens to be on vacation in Alaska at the moment. But yes, this was the last currently-scheduled appearance for Glen. He's simply not in a position to go on multiple tours for weeks at a time (look at the calendar for the next few months...)

So we've found someone equally nifty who will be taking over bass and percussion duties. "Who" you ask? Come to the shows and see...   —moosebutter

You guys should get some friends together, and perform something like that. That'd be hilarious, plus, it's something from the classic video games that everyone knows XD

LAVER-
-n.Trough used for washing.
-n. Any of several dried, edible seaweeds of the genea Plorphyra(red algae) and ulva(green algae)
-n. Australian tennis dude who played tennis and won the Grand slam.

Of course they don't make butter, they have no thumbs to grasp the churn stick with. However, they do make both:

1) Wine, since they love stomping on squishy things so they jump around in vats of grapes and sausages that have been gathered by their friends, the small-but-terrible forest squirrels. They then pour the wine into cascading mountain springs, thus the knickname.

and

2) semifore signals with their antlers   —moosebutter

I think it was the Story telling festival pre-show thing, at night. it was at the scera theater. 2, maybe 3 years ago. It was on a saturday, at the end of august sometime. I hope that's specific enough.
Definately didn't record that show. Maybe someone bootlegged it from the audience, but we weren't recording most of our stuff at that point in time.

I'm curious about one thing. I'm listening to the Cell Phone song and reading the lyrics...but you're missing a lot on there o.O How come the part below got cut off from the lyrics?:

nothing really matters but your cell phone
Cell phone....
Cell Phone....
we hear everything you said while talkin on your cell phone
I wanna beat you over the head with your stupid ugly cell phone!

You're talkin yak (repeats talkin yak for 6 times)
talk talk! (What?!) Yak Yak! (grr!!)
Cell phone!(repeats 5 other times)

*Cell phone rings*

I thought that part was the funniest out of the entire song...But that's probably cause I can't stand Cell phones XD
Uh, i'm confused

What did you just say? In english. I have an idea for the listening lounge. You guys need to put up the whole lion song. I feel a bit of inspiration coming on. "And thus, it was, and it was good, and it was good, and it also was, and it goodly was good. As it raised up it's mighty arm, it's face shone round-about, and they were sore afraid. But it said, 'fear not, for I am moosebutter, and I shall end this reign of misery and woe you poor inhabitants have had to endure from my archenemy, decomposition. Let all who live feast their auditory nerves upon the music I shall send out.' and it was good, and it was, and it was good." Well, I guess you could put that in the moosebutter bible. Or burn it. Although, burning it would be quite a laborious process, including a major hack into the internet, a lobotomy on my and everyone else who reads this, and destruction of all computers that these words appear on. I can't wait for the Lehi concert, it will rock. Do you guys know how much it will cost? or is it free?
and also, how did LEHI manage to get a group like you guys? well, I mean, I live there, but still. Lehi is such a hick town. You should sing Jon boy Jon. I bet people could relate. So anyway, Soyanata (or whatever)
Free.

WOW!!! I leave for camp for a week, and I finally get home, I have to read a half of page of new entries!!! That has something to say for itself. I am like having a freak attack...I haven't listened to ONE moosebutter song in 2 weeks. Unless you count when Megan and I went around our camp singing I HATE MOSQUITOS!! Then I sort of felt like an idiot.

I will now go listen to See Dee. Adios for now! you guys are awsome!!

mmm, Waffles... ^_^

and Ok, I understand about not selling your souls to Simon...he IS kind of creepy XD

I like how you guys reply to the guestbook entries, it's really awsome, and makes the guestbook really worth coming to ^_^

I am curious about one thing though. I was given the CD with your songs on it by a friend of mine, though it wasn't the official See Dee album itself, it just had all the songs burned onto it.

But, upon listening and discovering this site, I noticed there are two songs on this CD that I cannot seem to find any record of on this site...though it very much sounds like your work... Any idea where these songs came from? o.O

1) So Happy Together Parody: a song about a guy who endlessly stalks this one girl, and the song is about that.

2) The Jackie Chan Song: self explanitory, it's all about Jackie Chan
Both of those other songs are by InsideOut

And since you mentioned it, it's cool that your friend likes our stuff enough to try and make new fans for us. Seriously.
Now that you're a fan, we hope you noticed that the songs you love are available for the low, low price of 99 cents apiece in our online store.
We don't want to guilt trip anyone (unless you desperately want to feel guilty or something). It's just simple economics: CDs cost thousands or tens of thousands of dollars to produce well. If no one actually buys our stuff, then we can't afford to make more.
At least not until Bill Gates decides to include us in his will.

But we do try to give away as much stuff as possible for free. Check out the new Listening Lounge and let us know what you think of the various songs. That page will be updated with new samples regularly.   —moosebutter

It's Max again! I'm watching America's Talent, and I seriously think you guys should try out. I think you guys would do awsome in that show! ^_^ There was one group of A Capella singers, and they weren't nearly as entertaining to listen to as you guys were ^_^

Just a thought!

We looked into it, but we're not ready to sell our souls to Simon Cowell...yet.   —moosebutter

Hey, guys! Long time no see, neh?

So I stopped by your site to see if there was any exciting updates on shows or music or anything since the last time I checked in. (We have caravans of vans going to each of your Utah concerts this summer, by the way.) Your new lounge section is really cool, and all of the new people on the guest book are quite enthusiastic! I was reading the newer entries for fun when I came across this...

"you guys were awesome tonight at the Layton Ampitheater!!!"

*blinks twice and does a double take* No matter how many times I look at this sentence, it says the same thing. I can't quite wrap my brain around it.

Did you REALLY come to Davis County after months of pestering and not tell anyone? How did Nicole, whom I love oh-so-very-much-and-am-oh-so-very-jealous-of-for-going-to-Africa-this-summer, find out about this? And why didn't she tell anyone either? Is she just joking around? Was she hallucinating? Was she referring to our choir concert (also held at the Layton Ampitheater) where we referenced Moosebutter and expressed our dissapointment in not being allowed to sing a Moosebutter song for one of our numbers? Are YOU just joking around?

My poor little brain is breaking. Please, say it isn't so!

*whimpers and hugs her knees*

-Patti
Sorry to break it to you, but sometimes people pay us to come sing for them and they DON'T invite the whole world to join in. This was such a case.   —moosebutter

Moosebutter - you guys are amazing!! You've made so many youth group trips to the middle of nowhere that much more bearable!! (Though your songs are a wee bit too catchy. We were singing about dancing turkeys for a little too long for the coordinater's tastes)
THanks!
You're very welcome. That'll be our next album title: "Better Than 'I Spy'   —moosebutter

Hey guys I can;t believe Im going to New York! Only One more WEEK! I had a dream last might that moosebutter and SLIPKNOT did a concert together it was HILARIOUS! You guys like SLIPKNOT?
Weston personally would like to see Slipknot fall off of Niagara Falls. But, he also understands that YOU probably would like to see Brian McKnight in a wrestling match with Albert Pujols. That's the beauty of music: beauty is in the ear of the listener.   —moosebutter

Just thought I'd say something here since the Yahoo group seems to have rolled over and died. If we could get as much activity as this guestbook, I guarantee people would get annoyed. Not me, though. Well, just recently, I was listening to Moosebutter, with some of my friends, and they were all talking, and I turned on the squirrel song, and the talking just stopped. They thought I was trying to subliminally manipulate them. Ha, imagine that! *cough* Okay, that's all I have to say.
We love "moosebutter manipulation". Keep it up.   —moosebutter

On soundstudio, a freind and I were recording Turkey Dance, and on some parts, like on, "I don't think I like his bug eyes," we sang "Well I do!" And "Makes me feel kind of strange," we sang, "No it doesn't." Thank you for making the songs.
Thank Carl Everett.   —moosebutter
